Asbestos Roof Cleaning
We use a "Closed box Pressure Washing" system which is the only method approved by the HSE for cleaning asbestos roofing. The unit cleans using a high pressure 3000-6000ps water jet, which is manoeuvred around the roof, with minimal human interaction, resulting in a significantly lower chance of workers damaging the roof or encountering harmful asbestos fibres. Using enclosed cleaning heads, any resulting run-off is well within the EA Regulations, and disposed of using HSE em9 approved method.
Asbestos Roof Coatings
Once cleaned, we protect the roof against further degradation for life using high performance asbestos roof coatings, encapsulating, and sealing the asbestos containing cement sheets. Asbestos Encapsulation can be applied quickly, compared with hazardous removal, saving thousands of pounds compared with the cost of removing asbestos sheets.
Asbestos roofs coatings can be applied with a brush, roller or spray depending on the size and location of the area to be covered. We can work effectively and safely with existing building contractors, adhering to all HSE requirements.
